Turn Penny’s inquiry into a Salesforce record your team can follow up.

Your sales team receives the caller’s request in the Salesforce object your administrator chooses. A Zap maps Penny’s captured details after the call, using your required fields and assignment rules.

14 days of Pro included. No credit card.

The fields your office receives

Source fieldDestination
Captured caller nameLead name fields according to your mapping
Phone, email, and company when suppliedThe corresponding Salesforce fields you select
Call summaryLead description or a separate configured activity
Call reference and outcomeApproved source or reference fields
Direction
Penny sends an event to Zapier; the configured Salesforce action creates or updates the selected record.
When it happens
After the call has been processed, subject to Zapier task execution and Salesforce acceptance.

The connection does not bypass Salesforce validation rules. Required details that the caller has not supplied need a defined review path. Penny does not qualify a sale as closed or create revenue figures from a conversation.

Set up the connection

  1. 1

Check Salesforce access with your administrator

Confirm that your Salesforce account can use Zapier and that the connected user can write the intended object. Follow the organization’s app approval process if one applies.

  2. 2

Select Penny’s lead event in Zapier

Connect Penny, load a sample inquiry, and connect the correct Salesforce organization. Pick the Salesforce action your administrator has approved.

  3. 3

    Handle the required fields

Map the supplied name and contact details. Set a branch for incomplete inquiries so a missing company or surname does not become invented data or an unnoticed failed task.

  4. 4

Review the record with the person who follows up

Run a test action and open the resulting Salesforce record. Confirm assignment and validation behavior before enabling the Zap.

Penny’s signed call-completed webhook settings
The signed webhook is an alternative input to your Salesforce workflow. Sample endpoint; no account connection or signing secret is shown. Your receiving workflow determines the destination object.
