Start the HubSpot follow-up with the details Penny already collected.

A quote request reaches the HubSpot contact your team follows up, with the caller’s question in the fields you choose. Use Zapier to set the contact match and attach the captured details after the call.

The fields your office receives

Source fieldDestination
Captured name, phone, and emailThe contact properties you map; absent details stay absent
Call summary and outcomeA mapped property or associated note action
Requested serviceYour chosen contact property or note
Call referenceA reference field used to identify the source call
Direction
Penny sends the call event to Zapier. Your Zap finds or creates the HubSpot contact and writes the selected fields.
When it happens
The workflow starts after Penny finishes processing the call. Zapier and HubSpot control the subsequent action timing.

This is a Zapier workflow, with your mapping and account permissions. It does not give Penny a live view of the sales pipeline or make her update deal stages during a call. Zapier may require a separate paid plan for the workflow you choose.

Set up the connection

  1. 1

    Choose the Penny trigger

In Zapier, connect Penny with the credential shown in Penny’s integration settings. Select the lead trigger if this workflow is for new inquiries, then load a marked test call.

  2. 2

Connect HubSpot and set the match

Authorize the intended HubSpot account in Zapier. Choose a contact search or create action and decide which supplied identifier should match an existing contact.

  3. 3

Map only the fields you need

Map the caller’s captured details. Add a summary property or a supported note action if the team needs the reason for calling. Define what the Zap should do when email or another required identifier is missing.

  4. 4

Inspect the contact before enabling the Zap

Run the test and open HubSpot. Check the contact association and note placement, then enable the Zap. Keep an eye on its task history for failed actions.

Does Penny create a deal during the call?

This route runs through Zapier after call processing. Your Zap chooses the contact action and mapped fields. Any deal or note action must be supported and configured in that workflow.
