Field service · Direct connection · Pro

The caller’s concern becomes a Housecall Pro job for your office.

The dishwasher will not drain, and the caller wants a service visit. Penny captures the customer, address, and reported problem in an unscheduled Housecall Pro job for your office to review and schedule.

14 days of Pro included. No credit card.

Penny checks for the customer, then creates the service-intake job in Housecall Pro.
When it happens
Customer matching and job creation take place during the call.

The created job is unscheduled. Your office confirms the work, price, and appointment through its normal process. A successful write does not dispatch a technician.

Set up the connection

  1. 1

    Confirm account access

Have the Housecall Pro account administrator check that the account supports the required integration access. Then choose Housecall Pro in Penny.

  2. 2

    Connect your Housecall Pro account

Complete the authorization flow and return to Penny. Confirm that the connection belongs to the business whose calls Penny will answer.

  3. 3

    Capture a sample service request

Make a test call with a name, service address, and a short description of the problem. Ask for a preferred time so you can hear how Penny distinguishes a request from a confirmed booking.

  4. 4

    Review the unscheduled job

Check the customer match, description, and address in Housecall Pro. Assign someone in the office to review these requests and contact the caller to schedule.
